ICCCCI

INDEPENDENT COORDINATION COMMITTEE FOR COMBATING CORRUPTION IN IRAQ


the Independent Coordinating Committee for Combating Corruption in Iraq (ICCCCI) is an independent  entity of the multilateral coalition (Consortium) of not-for-profit organizations. It relies mainly in the implementation of activities self-funded by its members. It is created to combat and reduce the incidence of major crime and to continuously improve the integrity of, and to reduce the incidence of misconduct in, the public and sectors. As an Substitutional to the most corrupted units, the Crime Justice and Investigation Unit functions of the ICCCCI exist primarily as a consequence of the corruption findings of long-term, systemic political corruption, police corruption and abuse of power in Iraq. 


The ICCCCI has investigative qualifications of these are former police officers with extensive investigative backgrounds, particularly the more serious cases of misconduct, not ordinarily available to the current corrupted police service, for the purposes of enabling the committee to effectively investigate particular cases of major crime. As an Substitutional to the most corrupted units, the Crime Justice and Investigation Unit functions of the ICCCCI exist primarily as a consequence of the corruption findings of long-term, systemic political corruption, police corruption and abuse of power in Iraq. This project as an strategy lists the following major stakeholders, who are already member of the ICCCC in its implementation as follows:
